Default Quicker steering

Hey all,

What are the options for quicker steering? Racks from other models? Mods to be made to the current steering rack?

The americans seem to have come up with something called Supersteer:

http://www.perrinperformance.com/pages/show/241

Adjusts the angle of which the steering is turned

My car is 2003 STi Type UK Blobeye.

Thanks

The quick rack steering rack (yours is a 15:1 the quick racks are 13:1) from a JDM car, either look at ebay or you can look for some on some of the import sites.

Tony,

My RA STI is fitted with a quick rack (and has a pink sticker on the rear screen). Is this much different to a normal rack from a JDM WRX?

It is for an STI type RA, option on the type R's (with the exception of limiteds and the version 6 which had these as standard).
The wrx would have the same rack as the UK car (ie cr@p), the classic sti would have the 15:1 fast rack.

Sorry should have said V5 STI RA Ltd.

I only ask because I can't really feel that much difference between this and my old 1995 WRX.

Sent you a PM.

Does anyone know anything else that can be done in regards to quicker steering? I remember reading that Powerstation/Litchfield imports had done something to the steering on the Type 25 to give it much more feel also?
