Default results from harvey up pipe

well i have had a harvey smith up pipe fitted today as well as new gasketts on my up pipe down pipe and headers and inlet manifold as they were all slighty blowing and my indutcion pipe has been replaced as that had a hole in it. i have made 397.4hp with 360ft and full boost has is now coming in 400 rpm early which just as harvey said 400-500rmp sooner, ive seem to have made 12hp more job done i think if i had version 4 sti heads on instead of my version 4 wrx heads i would be yet agian seeing an improvment i will try and get the graphs up soon as i have a before and after graph and yes i do now that dynos lie a bit but if you average it still got to be in te380+ mark as this is what a 20g is meant to do so job done cheers havrey and also cheers for the bit of heat wrap that done just the right amount on my down pipe

I had similar results with earlier spool up/torque after fitting Harvey's up-pipe. Awesome bit of kit from a proper good guy
Look forward to seeing the graphs.

forgive my art work and plese note that not all 20g will make this power on a 2.0 forged engine and myabe this graph is a little high but im sure it is in the 380+ area and yes it feels quicker then what it did before as i found entering a corner which i use to taking in 3rd gear p,s i have notice thou this graph shows 3rd gear but i am running a six speed box. and on the road it seems to come in a touch quicker the boost so who knows thats dyno graphs for you but i have definetly noticed the difference . we did the fianl tweeks on the road after this graph

Thanks for posting that result. On the 3 bolt special uppipe on tubular headers the gain varies but generally 250-500 spool improvement and more torque very noticably more right across the rev range. Ultimate BHP will not be significantly greater but the earlier and greater torque rush makes the car a lot faster and much more pleasing to drive.
Cheers mate.
I havn't seen an OE 2008 uppipe but I do both 2 bolt and 3 bolt uppipes if the 2008 uppipe is the same as a 2005 then I do it but if it is not I would need a sample. If you are running RCMS 3 bolt flange header sets then I can make a big difference. I don't do anything for twin scroll because there is no point. The twin scroll uppipe is already pretty good as is the twin scroll manifold.

Dude that must be on a VF35 surely

If I decide to play with the wagon again anytime soon I will be swapping out the uppipe and headers for Harvey's flow matched items Icing on the cake really would be !
