Default lowering my scoob

looking to lower my scoob, its a 06 blob sti with 18" pff7's and i feel it sits a little to high, dont really want to go down the coilover route as i feel its a lot of cash when i have so many other plans for modding!

was just wondering what are the best springs for an approx. 40mm drop and good ride quality?

cheers- Stu

If its a blob then its an MY05 car, if its a hawk then its an MY06 car, now is your car a UK or JDM model? and have you looked at the prodrive spring kit? you wont want to lower it too much, 20mm may be better than 40mm as it will stiffen the ride up too.

I know a guy with an 06 plate Blob. He gets screwed on road-tax. If his car had been registered a month earlier he would have been paying about half of what he has to fork out now

BC's are alright but have a word with Bren @ Apex as there is a mod you can do to the top-mounts so they aren't so noisy.

Depending on what car it is - import or UK, I have put a set of tein springs in my 06 hawkeye. Changed the car alot. 35mm lower from 25mm lower rear and a good 4 wheel alignment. if you look on my pics u can see. Never looked back since and personnaly think it rides much better on these springs than the standards. + goes round corners like its on rails.
