Just want to check how to attach the Mocal fittings I have for my braided fuel line setup.

I get that the brass 'nut' slips over the hose first but how do you fit the thin alloy tube with a thread and chamfer on one end, does this 'screw' on to the inner and under the braid before fitting the actual end and tightening it all up?

If I'm right how far do you need to thread the part onto the inner?
