Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me with things i need to be looking at when going to test drive subaru impreza 2005 WRX STI. Can anyone tell me when the cambelts are due for change on them (Millage and time)? Whats the sevice intervals at? Whats the cost of a service? Whats the general running cost of one? Do they have any problems that are common? what should i look at when i go and look at the car is basicly what im after as im new to the scooby world if you guys on here could give me some help with your knowlage would be great,

Hello mate, preferably take somebody with you off the forum who lives near you, failing that check for a full service history, watch for any receipts or work done in bodyshops ! Check the whole car make sure the paint matches on all panels. The shockers front and rear are prone to knocking so listen on test drive for that, mine were gone on my 2003 JDM and the bloke said it was the jack in the boot( I fell for it !!!). Sure some others will chip in, hope it turns out to be a good one for you ;-) oh and HPI the car before doing a deal.
