Default burning oil

Hi all after some suggestions my scooby classic is burning oil, it only smokes when on full boost its a 2.5 with sti version 4 heads running a tdo5 20g,Any ideas ???????

Could be rings. i would say seal on turbo but i'm guessing this is new

The turbo is second hand its an andy forest one, iv spoke to him and he says its unlikely that the seals would fail

are you running the std engine breather setup?
mine burns oil a little due to blow by on boost getting into the inlet

No iv got a catch can with return to sump, i just dont get why i dont get any smoke until on full boost

I'm interested in this thread as I have a 2.5L Classic with a return to sump catch can. It is a fairly heavy user of oil and have been told that this is typical of 2.5L engines - also seen threads on forums to support this. I also get smoke at full throttle, which is kind of worrying

Would prefer not to leave Porsche drivers etc. in smoke

Not sure if this sounds strange but, is catch can full and blowing back through. Just a suggestion.

I see wot your saying i will check later see if there is any oil in there suppose it could be bloked, But thats to easy its never that easy on a scooby
