Oil Squirter problems!
Hopefully some one can help me out on this little issue. Does anybody know of an engineer who has lowered the squirters into the block? I have a 2.0 cdb and a cosworth stroker kit, i did a dummy build and found the pistons touch the squirters! I know modifying the piston is an option but not too keen on the idea of that. Im from South Yorkshire so someone near to me would be an even bigger bonus, cheers

This problem has been around for a while now, im surprised Cosworth have not modified the piston skirt to fit the CDB. Its also required for mahle pistons as im sure its apparent for others. The CDB is getting rarer so its cheaper to produce a 92mm all rounder piston i suppose hence the CDB does not get special treatment unlike the EJ22T stroker pistons to produce a 2.35 with custom rods etc as that block runs under piston squirters but are basically fit and forget with the correct wrist pins and rods.
