Default buying but needs new clutch 80k service and brakes

Hi,

well im selling my mk5 gti ( apr stage 1 250hp miltek and neuspeed ) a week on friday

and once you go turbo there really is no going back so I need something for my new being sensible saving for house yet still want to have fun 5k budget

went to see a blob eye 2004 today one owner 79986 miles full scoob history etc,

as per , millions of tiny stone chips on front of car ( thanks to japanese paintwork ) silver
tiny bubbles just above windscreen on roof seen this a few times now.early rust

apart from these would be happy, just three issues

1. 80000 service due how much and what does it consist of?
2. clutch was only biting at very top of travel
3. brakes to me don't seem any were near responsive enough

I want to haggle to get money off to get the above sorted but don't know what amounts im talking.

any help would be greatly appreciated indeed

thanks

STI mmmmm will need to check insurance on that but don't think they will be too pleased.

sure looks amazing though yeah i picked up my gti in leeds and had a massive night out at the same time lol

but don't know enough about them to feel confident at this stage, so back to the local one recon it'll cost in the region of 800 to get up to the pace. hmmm

might have to make a very cheeky offer

Prodrive is nothing special anyway, over priced fuel pump, bit of red samco on the intercooler and exhaust. you would change these on your car anyway and it wouldnt cost ye £2k. Ive got a nice white 98 sti classic with a few mods running 370hp on map1 and just over 400 on map2 but would need 6k if i was to sell, but ive never really thought about it and im only down in Ayr...
