Default v3 RA with v7 bottom end mapping advice - what ecu?

Sure many of you with good memorys will remember I bought this car off a member and it went bang on the way home.

It's a V3 with a V7 bottom end that's got a V9 crank . It has a fuel regulator and thicker gaskets (compensate for compression?). I added a uprated oil pump, but now need to get the mapping sorted for peace of mind.

Obvously having forked out £2k on rebuilding this shed funds are tight so what are my options? I know it's got to be done, worst buy ever this car but what can I do as I've come this far so might aswell finish.

I'm sure I saw something on here about a chip being developed. If not what ecu's and who can map? I'm in Essex.

Thanks

Esl are devoloping a daughterboard for the 97/98 but it is not available at present

Your main cost effective options are secondhand apexi powerfc and map or a simtek and remap.

No cheap options though

I just checked your site. ESL is the best hope if not £1100 for simtek and map.

Ouchy ouchy, cheaper to map a DC5 integra lol.

I 'll get saving. The missus is going to be pissed if she finds out how much I'm looking to spend on the shed.

Have you looked at second hand PFC's? Would come in cheaper than £1100 and unless you want AL and launch control would do the same job.
