Default Which exhaust system.

Just wanted to know peoples views on 3" exhaust systems, I can get a turbo back miltek system for a really good price but was after a bigger tail pipe as they only do it in 4" and i want a system a bit louder really.
Are the japspeed and cobra systems any good? they seem to be quite a bit cheaper than most systems. Obviously the nur spec R is in my thinking but just wondered if there are any other good quality systems to consider.

its not the size of the exhaust tip that gives it the loudness its how they muffle it in the back box or if they put any silencers in the system.
As mentioned the Blitz, afaik its one of the loudest systems going, my mate had one on his & with a cat it was still loud. On my old scoob i had HKS decat pipe, scoobyworld ninja centre with a silencer & a scoobyworld afterburner vortex back box & that was loud to, but the centre & back box was only standard 2.5".

Milsport cat-back on mine. About medium volume, much louder than the Racebox I originally put on the car but not too boomy once coked up and not deafening - i.e. not enough to really **** off the neighbours
Nur Spec R is the one to go for if you want loud though - nothing else will get close.
Afterburner Xtreme isn't too bad either.

I had a TSL group N with full de-cat on my old wrx, was too loud on tickover or on motorway. Gave a nice sound when you put ya foot down. I have a Nur spec now with full decat, its VERY loud. I like it tho.

Hi,

Cobra..... Good choice !

Try the track day friendly system its always a winner !

This keeps the 3" bore maintained without any baffles plates or harsh stops in the gas flow, but sounds reasonable on the car ( under 95 dB ) We will have a U tube clip of this system on our website in the next few days as we have just done this today ?

Or email me on pete@exhaustsuk.com and i will send the clip to you direct.

Thanks

Pete
