Default heater controls

hi all, i took apart my centre console last night to try and get the heater controls out so i can change the bulbs as they are blown, but i cant seem to be able to remove it 4 screws holding it in it moves but cant see how to get it out ? its a 2000 classic face lift impreza. any body know how to do this ? ? thanks you for any help. i have searched and googled but nothing cheers

It will be connected by cables that operate the fan's and vent.
It'll probably be conneced the same way a cable is connected to the brakes on a bicycle.
You should be able to get the bulbs out as it is, you won't need to remove it completely.

ok, so any idea on where the bulbs will be, cos they are so little and hav to be screwed in , i think it might be abit tricky doing it with it still in ? but im not sure ? any one know any thing about this ? thanks si.

so is there no one out there that knows how to get to the bulbs on this thing ?? am i gonna have to go to the main dealer to find out ? cheers all
