Indicators or hazzards won't work
Hello all,
I'm very desperate now.
My indicators nor hazzards work, yet they flash when i set the alarm.
I have a version 4 sti. The problem started once i replaced the headlights, side lights and side repeaters. To start all was fine except the off side bulb didn't work on the side repeater.
The indicators then stopped blinking, including the dash display and were solid. Then they all stopped working.
I've checked and tested every fuse with a metre. I can hear the relay ticking when i set the alarm. I've also replaced the indicator stalk. The alarm is working fine.
I'm at the end of my tether and can't think of anything else.
Can anyone help PLEASE?

They all worked fine for about 60 miles after changing the headlights, sidelghts, side repeaters and bulbs except the offside repeater.
Then they would go on but wouldn't flash and the nothing.

If they went on and stayed on, and now refuse to come on at all, it sounds like you burned out the flasher relay.
It's situated under the dash, high up on the driver's side. If you are a contortinist, you can see it, but not touch, or vice versa. Be warned, there are AT LEAST two under there, so if you CAN make it click, get someone to do so, while you feel for the one that is clicking, before pulling it down and releasing it from the wiring. Mine was fastened to the dash, but now hangs loose. Mine was green, if that helps and yes, it's a standard 6 light flasher relay, sold in most car places for a few quid.

Thanks mate,
I know you're right! But every now and and again you need a little confirmation.
Thanks again,
P.s has anyone seen Doc Hollywood when the bloke fixes the car car and comes out with a box of left over bits that he's not too sure where they came from

I've got the same issue on my JDM STi7 (indicators and hazard not going) - and the garage I use cannot seem to find anything about it. Is the relay going to be in the same place does anyone know?
When people have said high under the dash - whereabouts exactly is meant?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Matt
