Default Injector fitting

Hello all,

I have done a search but couldn't find any help. Can someone give me a quick guide on removing old and fitting uprated injectors please?

Removing 380s and fitting 440s to a 96WRX

Thanks

Err what like unbolt everything that's in your way and then swap them over.

I take it you do realsie the car will run like a bag-o-****e after this..
Please tell me you are doing this because of other mods requiring larger injectors and you also have an ECU that is mapable after you have done this..

I was more wondering if the fuel rails had any pressure in them that needed to be vented first? Do the rails need priming afterwards?

I thought I could just bung them on and go quicker? more fuel more power

Only joking - I have a full decat, IK, will have 440s 3bar map sensor anf a FMIC, i will be getting a remap from JGM - ESL daughterboard onto my ECU

Haha until I scrolled down I was like "FFS, another clueless ****"

Just put a rag over the first pressure pipe you pull off, if you've just turned the car off then there will be a bit of pressure in there, nothing that's going to kill you though
Cycle the ign a couple of times once you have it back together and the pump will prime all the air out fine!
You're good to go

330-340bhp is on the cards after you fit/map the 440s...

Thanks for that, I thought there would be a bit of pressure but seems easy enough to do!

My wife says I am like an anorak cos I spend ages checking and double checking what needs doing before I actually decide what needs doing and what to buy
