Forester XT. Question about turbo.
Hi guys and gals.
This is my first post so any advice would be appreciated.
My 54 plate Forester XT 2.0L needs a new turbo. Does anyone know what size / manufacturer and model would be fitted to this car? Its not an import. The only numbers I can see on the turbo casing / manifold appear to be 35-1391 0?? and 5008.
Second question is could I fit a more powerfull turbo without having to upgrade injection system etc?
Any help would be appreciated.

Think I've sussed the turbo, its a TD04L-13T-6.
What else could I do with regards to an upgrade, or any little tweaks to give the car a bit more umphff?

Seems I am between a rock and a hard place here.
According to all the info I can source, it might be a Mitsubushi or an IHI model, a TD04 or a TD035. I can't get the heat shield off the turbo to check without stripping away the air intake and manifold. Subaru can't tell me which was fitted
. The car is sat on my drive waiting to go to garage. Can any one tell me where on the turbo casing I can get the manufacturers info? Knowing this will help me decide where to get the turbo changed (depending which is fitted will determin how much and how long I have to wait to get the car back).

A UK model will have a TD035. JDM models had the TD04L.
Can't remember which injectors are on the UK model but a turbo swap to something cheap like an Impreza TD04 may well need an injector swap - alternatively bump up the fuel pressure.
Oh - and a remap will also be needed.
