I believe it wil fit, but because the Coupe's doors are longer, the B-pillar bars on a Coupe cage will be sitting some 20cm behind the sedan's B-Pillar, thus obstructing passenger seating (but nobody is daft enough to carry passengers with a caged car).

It will look a bit strange, as well, as the upright won't sit behind/near the B-pillar, but that is just cosmetic.
