gapping the spark plugs
Hi can anyone tell me what the correct gap in the spark plugs should be just i have removed my engine and giving it a full check over, have new spark plugs just wanted to know what the gap is as standard plz.

Tis ok i have found out 0.7mm or 0.65mm mine are o.7mm so this should be fine.

0.7mm for std boost.
Or 0.65mm for upped boost. Go for 0.65 - less chance of misfires...

Have you got a Classic? Are you fitting NGK PFR
7 B plugs?
If not, then you should... lol

yes i ahve a classic, i have bought brand new denso ones mate are they crap then lol? was going to ge the ngk's too

NGK are std fit and are used by pretty much everyone - including the specialists, etc. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, etc...
PFR6B is std, PFR7 B is one level "colder" i.e. has the ability to resist cylinders' heat/pressures better.

Theyre not for a classic mate. classic plugs are ngk pfr7s. iirc the ones you posted are maybe for newage..

i got these off ebay for mine and have no problems (MY99)
they are 1 grade colder than standard
and camskill's web site has them list for impreza up to 2006

Were they wrong in recommending these instead of the PFR7B's?
(jdm MY95 wagon with with 3" full de-cat turbo back, green panel filter, ported headers (heat wrapped as are downpipe and up-pipe), TD05 with Major Sarcasm ECU upgrade chip.)
