Wink ey! tryed Boost Control Solenoid clean

Now i have the bugeye 02 and i did the conect the green plugs and switched on the ignition and the fans started and something clicked, NOW i thought the thing in my hand would of clicked but it was somewere else in the engine bay,

i Stopped what i was doing stright away incase i was doing something wrong

Now i thought the boost solenoid was the thingthat has 2 pipes coming from it one to the actuator and one to the inlet pipe. This thing being the solenoind on the driver wing ?

have i got the wrong thing ?

on my 97 uk turbo the green plugs are used to put the car into test mode, everything clicks on and of once theses are connected - the fans , selenoids etc.

the black connecters are used to read error messages , as when you connect these the check engine light flashes and you have to count the flashes to get read the error code.

But here it is

the top pipe you see in the pic above goes to the intake pipe (filter)

The pipe to the bottom of the solenoid goes to the "T" pipe from the actuator

hope this helps fella
Mine.

Also found this, helps show what was talked about above.
