Hi, scooby is due a service, first one since I bought her, anyone recommend anywhere in merseyside or the north west, quoted £330 by graham walker sounds steep.

What service is you need, major or minor as there is a big difference in price.

Engine, Gearbox and Diff fluids and filters alone for good stuff will set you back around a ton. Plugs, Timing belt kit (+ pumps while out) other filters another ton plus all the labour..... so your money is well spent in my opinion.

To name a few; Cams in Darwen, and Scoobyteknix in Fleetwood.

I've always found Graham Walker quite competitive. An alternative I use is Dyno Demon in Neston. There is also one at Queensferry, Silverstone or something.......also sounds worth a punt.

Cambelt is 5 year item IIRC and is not dependent on milage, best to check the service manual

Hope you get sorted

i went to graham walker as that is were I bought it from but found there prices crept up with changing wiper blades when they were fine and charging for oil disposal and once the vat was added the quote that I was given was smashed.
I went to dyno demon last and the lads there are great you wont get a better service and the cost was much better. Neil remembered my name when I went in for my bushes to be sorted 8 months later. Top bloke.

I recently bought a car that had been serviced and mapped by Dynodemon over the last 2 years. I needed to ask a few questions about the car and Steve answered all my questions and was very helpful even telling me the power the car attained on their rolling road.Needless to say my car will be going there for any future work.
