Default Brakes locked on ????

Hi,
I have a subaru classic 1996 wrx and the brakes are locked on, thought it was just one seised caliper but jacked it up and all the wheels are tight. When you take handbrake off car doesnt move so taken that out of equation, any ideas?

Yesterday you could feel the brakes coming on a little bit now and again when driving but now is totally stuck on drive.

Get it recovered to a decent garage mate, it's impossible to diagnose over the internet

you wont turn the wheels easily with just one wheel jacked up as your winding the diffs and gearbox up> unlike a conventional 2wd where wheels can be spun easily one at a time this doesnt work with the 4wd system on a subaru. Why do you think your brakes are looked on? what are the symtoms??

Rebuilt the front brakes to see if they had sezied but the brakes still locked on, after pushing the brake pedal the pressure stays in the brakes as when you crack the bleed nipple brake fuild sprays out, so has to do with the master cylinder?

Run out of ideas now , ive changed master cylinder and servo bled the system through and it still wont move. Ive taken the pin out the brake cable to see if it needed ajustment but is fine so thinking handbrake now maybe?

Does it have ABS ?

Or are you confusing a failed centre diff with a braking problem ?
