Default Battery or worse??

went to unlock car with key fob fourway flashers didnt flash then when i turned ignition on all the dash lights were flickering and the alarm came on.Bought two new batteries for the keys problem the same. Would it be the car battery,is it ok to jump start the car? O4 WRX by the way.

Yep, sounds like Car battery, bump-start is not recommended as can explode cat (rare but possible)!

Definitely car battery. OE Scoob ones are sadly quite poor. Halfords HCB005 is a good easy to obtain replacement. Don't know if you have a tracker, these use about 50mA so a good battery will be flat in 4 weeks regardless. The Scoob track car I'm trying to sell is stored in garage and did exactly as you describe after being left for 4 weeks. Normally I get round to charging it every 2 weeks to avoid probs. OE Ford battery in my well used 8 yr old Focus just keeps going so it can be the luck of the draw.

I had a similar problem with mine... trickle charged the battery over night and it was fine, no more alarms going off.
