Default Big puddle of oil!!

Hi all some may recognise me as having the rebuild that wont start. I changed the crankshaft sprocket and wanted to fire so bad. My mate towed me today and fired straight away but would only rev to 3000 revs and sounded like wasnt running on all cylinders. pulled over and tried to rev it more but it started to rev harder about 3500-4000 then dropped oil all over the floor so had to shut it down. Guessing its to do with back pressure but any other ideas? And as to what could cause it?

Cheers Spen

Not to sure about the oil but are you sure you have the right crank sprocket for the car? as they do vary.

Yeah was identical mate i marryed them up against each other. But sounded like the timing wasn't right but its spot on! I even removed the belt and refitted just to be sure and it's spot on 100%.
