Seems a bit steep! Does this include the housing; do you need the housing? Cost is much more when inclusive of housing IIRC.

If it's any comfort, the MAF sensor used on 1999-2000MY Imprezas is the same as that fitted to several Porsches. The current Subaru price is £120 or so. The Porsche price is dearer than that quote you just got.

Got one in perfect condition, including housing, in the boot of my car, since I'm running MAF-less. It's come off a 98 car.
Make me an offer?

+1 as above ^^^

Q45 is a straight swap as it has the same 90mm OD to fit the MY97/98. I think that's right isn't it?

Prob needs to be wired up differently though, so make sure it comes with its connector boot/pigtail wires.

The caveat is that it would have to be rescaled though (e.g. in a remap). Can get 'em for about £80 on eBay and they're good for 460-500bhp (mind, so is the MY97/98 OEM orange label MAF)...

A couple here: Q45 MAFs...

If your saying that with Q45 you need a remap MY97 ECU's can't be remaped.

Mine Purple lable went and I ended up getting 2nd hand one. Still working fine
