Wink

You need discs and calipers as the 4 pot discs are bigger. They will just bolt on.

you dont have to upgrade the brake lines but the trouble with std brake hoses is they swell when you brake so you are theoretacally losing brake effort whereas if you upgrade to ss braided hoses they hold pressure a lot better and reduce lost braking effort.

For all brake queries and bits, you can do a LOT worse than drop an e-mail to ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk.

Oh, and you need a minimum of 16" wheels to accomodate 4-pots, plus they need their own discs since they are different sizes.
tried any breakers? Google "Subaru breakers".

JDM MY97/98 v.3/4 STi's got the 4-pots.

Then all MY99/00 Classic turbos - inc. the UK ones - got them too.

Hijack - sorry. Do you need 4 pots off a classic to go on a classic or will , for example , bug-eye ones fit a classic. Thanks

New Age WRX 4-pots are exactly the same, I believe (as far as a straight swap onto the Classic's hub carrier goes).

293/4/5/6mm dia. discs are required to make the most of them...

Going rate is usually £150-£250 depending on condition and what kind of discs/pads are with.

Sorry to jump on this thread too but I'm looking to upgrade my brakes as they aren't the best - 97 uk turbo 260hp - think I have the standard 2 pot ones. upgrade to 4 pot would be ok? Are brembos worth a look (mate's just put them on his 280hp leon)?
Cheers

Agreed and also need certain wheels.

I've got Godspeed Brembos at the front, with 330mm discs, and STi Brembos at the rear with the Godspeed fitting kit.
Both go under WRX 04 wheels, 17".

I'm sure it does (for you men) but at least my wheels are 17s - the guy who has the brembos had a scoob and also works for a tyre/brake place in exeter.
decent budget 4 pots then??

Just done the maths - you get 3% extra swept area with 335mm ones (compared to 330s) LOL!

Do you mean the Godspeed 335mm discs? With the hub-to-caliper extender brackets too, etc?

Do you have the 335mm kit's deeper pads too?

How much, etc.?
