hi all , i have a my02 wrx thats started to make a strange knocking noise . ive had the car in the air tonite and checked every thing over and all seems ok apart from the rear shocks seem soft and very easy to move up and down as tho the only resistance is from the spring . any help would be greatfull as it souns like a bag of nails over bumpy roads . thanks kev

 

rear shock just died on my sti known fault!
