hi i had my decat up pipe fitted yesterday, driving it around and when you floor it and the turbo is under load there is a tapping noise which sounds like your putting a stick in a wheel or something dont really no how to describe it but its tinny rattle when turbo in could anyone help me with this please as its worrying me thanks !!!!!

You can get a ticking type noise(like a noisy tappet) if you have a slight exhaust gas leak on the up-pipe/turbo mating face.

ye thats roughly wat it sounds like but its new gaskets and bolts so surely shouldnt be leaking already ??? any advice wat to do merlin

did they use gen gaskets or them crap cork ones?

Dunno but I no they weren't gen so do u rek that's prob ?

i had a problem similar wen i used the cheap gaskets, fitted gen ones and problem had gone.

Have you checked the heatshield over the turbo. This could becoming slack. check this, ive seen the bolts coming loose..
