If its a classic look at the clutch pedal and there will be a brass return dod with a 10mm nut on it. slacken the nut and turn the brass rod about 3mm to make it longer, that should sort it mate.

Start of Master / Slave cylinder going...
Hello mate,
If a Classic, then IMHO - As above, but try the spring first - much cheaper! No experience of New-age, but cannnot believe they would be a different set up?
These are the symptons that I had and was a new slave / Master. Not hugely expensive, but cheaper to do yourself. I got tucked up by a garage who assured me it would be covered under a warrenty insurance, and then charged me £300 odd quid - not impressed.
If I had known that, I would have done the job myself with Blueprint parts.
Mart.

as above, the reason ur pedal sticks/doesnt return will be due to air in the system, either bleed the system & while your at it check for damp fluid leaks around the slave cylinder. If you pull the rubber boot back on the cylinder & its wet then theres ur problem. Not expensive to replace if u go on e-bay icpmark sells genuine subaru items for around £40 & should take you around 20 mins to replace & bleed.
Just loosen the bleed nipple and attach a length of snug fitting pipe on the nipple & draw through the fluid with a big syringe then tighten the nipple, that way you can do it all on ur own.
