can anyone tell me what sensor would have previously plugged into the brown plug on this picture please? schoolboy error i know but it has been a while since i took it to bits



black is map
blue is BCS
brown = ?

Pressure exchange solenoid..

depending on what ecu you are running you may not need it.. Apexi, Simtek, Syvecs, Hydra, Link, Gems all won't care it is missing.

Simon, why is there also a pressure exchange solenoid too? What does the PES do that the BCS doesn't/can't, IYSWIM?

Is the PES that little cylindrical brown thing at the top of the BCS - as on the 3-port set-up (if not the 2-port too)?
