I am lead to believe that the headgasket for a v3 sti is a 1.3 or 1.6? does anyone know the correct size?

also im sure the guy on the phone just said i have had an 8 thou skim on my heads. so what size head gasket would i need to buy?

If you've had 0.008" off which is 0.2mm you would be using the 1.6 gaskets instead of the 1.3 anyway.

yeah i know that but i have read conflicting stuff.

some places say 1.6 for mine, and some say 1.3.

i know i will need to step it up now. but if its 1.6 what can i do?

measured my gasket today with a micrometer. 1.475 mm. so looks like i was running 1.6 before its was squashed.

guess im going 1.6 again
