Nothing wrong with the semi synthetic you can go for a fully synth, bit of a waste of time on any engine over the 60-70k mark really as the wear is already there that its protecting against, but if you want to run a 10w40 then motul do a very good one, the 15w50 is a good summer oil, bit thick on cold start ups in winter though unless you give it a good 30 secs or so before driving off.
You can go as low as a 5w40 but not a 0 cold or a 30 hot or any 30 hot rated oil tbh, 40 min and 50 max, 5 cold to 15 cold, ie 10w50, 5w40, 15w50 etc.

10w-60 is a bit thick when hot and doesn't flow quickly, meaning that heat isn't transferred away as quickly as it should be. A 10w-50 is a better choice than a 10w-60.
A 10w-40 is fine for day to day normal use in a classic, go for a 10w-50 if you drive it hard or track it
