Default ecu swap

i am swapping a ecu from a 95 wrx import it currently has a sti ra ecu but because the sti ra has a 5th injector its not running well so am looking for something better than standard wrx.i found a prodrive ecu on ebay it should fit they are both 4 pin does any one have any thoughts or input would help alot also need uprated injectors !!!!

i will let you into a secret about the ra and sti ra, the 5th injector does not work it was there only for homologation purposes and was never activated for the road cars.

take your pick:


U8, 2C, W6, W9 - 1993/1994 WRX - 11.47psi
SA (STi chipped) - Ver1 STi (Sedan and Wagon) - 14.94psi
SB (STi chipped) - Ver1 STi-RA - 13.64psi
SC (STi chipped) - SAME AS Z4 - Ver2 STi Wagon - 12.78psi
Z4 - 1995/1996 WRX - 12.78psi
Z5 - 1995/1996 WRX-RA - 12.57psi
6K - Ver2 STi Sedan - 13.34psi
7K - Ver2 STi-RA - 13.19psi
Prodrive UK ECU (Prodrive Chipped) -- SAME AS 6K - 13.34psi
1C, 3B, V9, V5 - All WRX Wagons 10psi, dropping to 6.8psi
V7, 7D, 6D - 1993 to 1996 UK/Euro 11.47psi

i dont think a uk ecu will work in a wrx import, something to do with the electronic speedo. cant remember. jap ones work in uk cars but not the other way round as i remember. youd be better off with the z4 ecu anyway. thats the best one.

if your looking at 250620750274 then that wont work in a pre 96 car anyway. its from a facelift car and is way different.

they do work in jdm cars i run in my wrx myself, the only problem with running a jdm ecu in uk car is you get the jdm speed limiter.
