Looks like PORT 1 could be the VTA bleed port (no fitting nipple).

So PORT 2 and 3 would then be for the comp. outlet and w/g return... but which way round, don't know(?). Could be that PORT 2 is the w/g return (as it's closest to the bleed PORT 1 - i.e. apeing the OEM Subaru MY93-96 3-port)... But all this is purely speculation.

Have you tried Perrin's website to see if they have a PDF of the fitting instructions?

If no luck, contact ZEN. They sold Perrin BCS's (might still do so) when they offered garage services - so Paul may well know.....

as jozzy said

1 to compressor housing
1 to actuator
1 to inlet manifold if youve got a 3rd nipple

dont think it matters which way round it goes if theyre all labelled the same, my apexi 3 port was though so it had to be done a certain way. now running a hybrid

I guessed right for once!

Simon, out of interest, does the PORT 1 have to go back to the inlet tract, BTW?

Or can it also be mapped with the turbo hoses's port bunged, and PORT 1 left VTA?

Won't you have to connect it at the time of mapping as your ECU will think it's still working with a 2 port?

Yes maydew, as Midlife says, you gain nothing by fitting until such time it needs to be mapped. Also, if you have a later MY97-00 Impreza, with the 2-port OEM BCS, then the ECU isn't designed to run a 3-port replacement... until, obviously, it's mapped and therefore accounted for!

In that case, surely you'd positively shat yourself in a 600bhp monster, then?
