Default Rear washer jet squirting under acceleration?!

Ok, this one's a bit odd...

Under acceleration, water squirts out of my rear washer jet. Not full power squirt, just lightly.

Any ideas why??

Rich.

Has your intercooler been off? Sounds like the auto intercooler spray coming on under boost spraying your rear window as oposed to the intercooler.

If you look in the boot under the wiper motor, there is a one way valve (grey end and black end) - only a couple of quid from subaru

Changed mine last week

P.S. Only had the car a week.

Do I definitely have intercooler spray?

Just to thank you guys for your help. Bought a replacement valve from local motor factors and replaced it. Spot on now. Squirts only when it's supposed to! The original rattled inside... d'oh!

Thanks again!
