hi would like some help i have a 1993 wrx jdm, i have had a map and was told my injectors where at 97% at one point, would a fuel pressure reg help to lower it ? a list of wot i have had done possibly to help.
simtec ecu
autobahn fmic
apexi filter
full decat
walbro 255(5yr old possible this?)
yellow 440s
currently running at 294bhp at 18 psi
dont really wont to go down the 550s route, as used as a family car as was told dont run to smooth on this?

hi a fpr might give you abit more leway but youve answered your own question ul need bigger injectors most here will agree! are you wanting much more power out of the setup ur already running?

no not realy looking for that much more power , just above the 300bhp would be nice but was told the setup i have should be good for up to the 320bhp mark ?

i would have thought you would have at least broke the 300 bracket easyily! which turbo is on ur car? also who does ur mapping?

i currently have a TD05 16G had a oil seal gone as blue smoke on lift off will be replacing that soon.would a 3" system help as i have a 2.5" one at the moment?

3' is only needed for big power 2.5' is fine for what ur running. what about headers and uppipe are they still standard? who mapped ur car?

To answer you question, yes, the FPR will do as you wish, the 440's can flow 350HP at raised pressure, the FPR will allow you to do this.

Your power is probably limited by the oil in the combustion mix from your leaking turbo reducing the octane level.

i have a choice of 2 turbos lying in my garage a TD05 16G and a TD05 23G, but like i say not really looking for huge power.

turbo and headers+a FPR being fitted next week, so will get booked in for a tweak and see what happens

im pretty sure the 440c injectors max out around 347 bhp so you should be seeing over 300 bhp mate

my 440's were maxing out with a very similar spec, could only just run 1.2 bar.....looking for 550's but theres not many about!

im running 340.8 bhp and my mapper said thet the injectors are nearly maxed out and im hiting 18 psi
