Anyone fitted new one??

Got to the bottom of the slight smell of fuel in the car after it has been stood for 30min, under the back seat on the pass side the middle 8mm pipe has started to weep, where it pushes into the u-bend, unplugged pump and ran aload of sealent around it and put a small jubliee clip around it and it only spran a bloody small hole,

so anyone replaced this bit of pipe before, looks like it runs inside the car, but when i ring up for some new fuel pipe. its the rubber stuff, or they say i can use 8mm copper pipe

is it the rubber or the hard pipe which is leaking? my leak was coming down from above the tank and dribbling down the hard pipe. busy investigating...

 

was the hard pipe where it pushes into a u bend, i ve just cut the pipe and placed a rubber section over the pipe, and works a treat
