It would be cheaper to go on an advanced driving course to improve your driving skills

I take it you've never driven a car without ABS - I doubt very much there is anything wrong with his driving skills.

All cars stuggle without ABS at times, hence they have ABS in newer cars.

I use to drive lots without abs, that was never the cause of any accident I had (only 1 fault accident and abs wouldnt have done anything there).
If you understood what steve said then you would understand why an advanced driving course is recommended, most younger drivers have always had ABS equipped cars, you have to adapt the driving style to one without, this is taught in advanced driving, something they dont teach you in your pass plus crap.

To the OP, sell the car, buy one with ABS, thats your only real solution, unless you want to spend thousands?

Cant afford to sell up. Might just have to take it a bit easier and increase my braking distances. Thanks for all replies. I was just wondering if it was just a case if swapping a few parts over and job done. Thanks again, Arran

No, its a job of swapping lots of parts including sensors over, its not a viable thing to equip a non-abs car with abs outside the factory.
Do as steve said, go take some advanced driving lessons.

can be done, but will be very time consuming and expensive.... even with 2nd hand parts.

as said before only real option is to sell your car and by a newer one with the money you will end up spending on all the abs kit
