i'd go back to a recirc m8 at the very least, as bbb3 said turbo chatter sounds sexy but is harmfull over time unless you have a turbo built for it, and from what i have been told a TD04 ain't strong enough i have a TD05 and wouldn't with that and most say there bomb proof

td04's are ten a penny! pick them up for nothing. ive thrown 2 away no one wants them.
the only thing id be worried about is think what way the air in supposed to go through the MAF? then think what way its going after you let off

Aside from it not bringing you anything worth having you have picked probably the worst model year of car to try it on.
what are my options ?

Or, as above, rather than spending money trying to fix the problems your modification causes, just remove the modification. It's by far the simpler approach.
thought td04 was ok for dv del?
a) try a DV delete on a TD04
b) most of the people that do probably don't try it for very long
...the reason for both of the above being that a significant number of the people who modify their cars will also likely to be upgrading their turbo.

If you don't want to suffer maf problems the best thing you can do is to reverse this modification sharpish.

Mafless ECU and a spare turbo on your shelf just in case. As has been said above, TD04's can be picked up for peanuts so you could regard this item as disposable. The trouble is that a fecked airflow meter will dispose of your engine real quick.
Yes you can but in the first instance it's going to cost you a couple of hundred quid of your mapper's time in rescaling it, and in the second instance, it doesn't matter what airflow meter you fit, reversions will get to all of them eventually.
Or, as above, rather than spending money trying to fix the problems your modification causes, just remove the modification. It's by far the simpler approach.
Who told you that? They're relatively more tolerant to it than some other designs, simply by dint of having a 360 degree thrust bearing but much of that reputation comes from the fact that not many people
