Default Straight/ Angled exhaust

I have a 1997 uk turbo and was wondering, is there much difference in having a straight exhaust, which it is now, or angled, such as the afterburner?

If angled gives more performance would it fit and would it match up To any decat middle pipe?

Thanks

is there not less bends if u have it angled (drager style). which would be better for the gas flow and performance

i always think of an engine as an air pump, so the quicker you get it in and out the better it will go, my exhaust is quite straight with few subtle bends in it, but no resonator boxes or silencers just 3" from the cat to a back box,

wrapping is also very good to keep the heat in the system that helps with flow a lot too

this is what mine looks like

Angled exhausts improve the car's handling by de-polarising the laminar airflow under the body, therefore improving agility.

Um, okay , so it's basically looks and the theory less bends equals better gas flow
