Default RATTLING BUNG??

i've recently had to put my bung in my blitz nur spec r cos of complaints from neighbours from the noise when i go to work at 5am. not through choice cos i love the noise. when i started car up it sounded awefull, there was distinct rattle and just sounded as if exhaust was blowing. after driving felt like it was down on power too. was woundering if this is normal with bung fitted? any advice guys?

iv never had any trouble from the fuzz about it,although i carry the bung in my boot just incase! i dont really know if they can fine you or anything about it! maybe give you one of them tickets where you have to get it stamped by a mot station, but then id just go to work, stamp it and sign it myself!!

im with Mrchips though....stuff the neighbours, like you said you start it and are gone in seconds!

I wouldn't say stuff the neighours to be honest! Not very nice.

I'd put the bung in, drive down the road and take it out. Hardly a problem to keep your neighbours happy I don't think.

the way i got around my bung rattlin in the blitz was to smear gasket sealant around the inner part of the bacbox (where the bung sites) to take up that small 1mm of play, then tightend it up with the 10mm bolt, no more rattly, and the gasket sealant is weak enough you can twist the bung to remove it if needed,i was gonna use silicone sealant, but thought nah, thats got too good ahold !
