I also have a Prodrive sportcat off a Blob STI fitted. I think the lengths of certain parts of the Hawkeye system are different, but they all add up to the normal length, if that makes any sense.

The UK car is a 4 piece system whereas the JDM is the same 3 piece system as a classic (just a couple of hangers are on the wrong side)

HTH

I would say yes, I have a 4 piece system, and have had a mix of bugeye and blobeye parts at any one time. No issues with fitting, and as mentioned before, my Prodrive sportcat fits my bugeye, when originally on a Blob STI.

this is a silly question but the downpipe on a classic is quite long, the newage is 2 sections(1 being a sports cat and another being a short decat pipe that fits to it) would the small decat pipe thats connected to it be a seperate part or would i sell the 2 pieces as the downpipe?

obviously it would depend on what car it would be going on but i would be inclined to sell both bits as one to cover yourself.I have only owned JDM cars (classic and newage) so everything was the same.I am sure someone who has tried to do this swap will be along shortly to confirm 100%

If you do sell it as 2 separate parts, make sure you get that point across to any prospective buyers, as I'm sure at least some of them would expect the "downpipe" to comprise BOTH section. The reason being that both sections together mimic most aftermarket all-in-one items, so the buyer, perhaps not unreasonably, might think that's also what they'll be getting (IYSWIM)...
