What model year is the car, and is it a UK model or import? Answer to the boost question is different if you're talking about a 96MY Japanese market car than it would be if you're talking about a 2002MY UK bugeye, or an 07MY 2.5...

Idle vacuum should be around 0.65 bar (i.e. -0.65 bar relative pressure) on a fully warm engine, although it varies a little with atmospheric pressure.

Full boost should be 0.9-0.95 bar or so up until the upper reaches of the revcounter.

Do i have a faulty gauge, after having the gauge fitted for 2 days the readings are changing,
Idle now -0.25, boosts to about 0.8 but gauge sometimes stays on upper boost when revs have dropped off. Gauge is a elec prosport
