Do you mean the large turbo intake pipe?

If so, the "straight-on" end goes to the turbo collar, and the "90-deg" end faces the driver's wing, ready for the 'S'-shaped MAF pipe/MAF/airbox to attach to.

no sorry its on a 96 import and the pipe runs left to right with 2 pipes one side and one the other end. Its about the same length as the inlet manifold from left to right

Sorry mate. I expect they are oil breathers - don't know.

I don't suppose YOU can take a pic of yours?

Sounds like its either the breathers or the recirc dumb valve return. Either way both will return to the plastic inlet pipe that runs under the inlet manifold to the turbo.

Basically these items need a vac feed:-

* fuel pressure reg
* dump valve
* BCS's pressure exchange solenoid
* boost/vac gauge (if fitted)
* w/g actuator

- IMPORTANT: Make sure the FPR defo gets a direct feed from the IM.

- The BCS pressure exchange solenoid gets a direct feed from the IM too, I believe.

- The w/g act. gets its feed indirectly from the turbo comp spout's nipple, but loops to the 3-port BCS's top port first, then out of the BCS's middle port and on to the w/g (if a MY96). If a MY97, then I think you have a 2-port BCS, in which case the comp nipple joins to T-piece, then the other straight end goes to the w/g, whilst the 90-deg leg goes to the BCS.

This leaves a spare nipple - hook this to the DV. Then T into this DV's feed for a boost/vac gauge (if one fitted).

I think that covers it. If there's anything missing/inaccurate, then hopefully people like JGM, Enginetuner, etc. will add to/rectify the above....

Thanks for that ive managed to sort that now with the help above

just one problem now everything is now connected tried to start engine but no good
there doesn't appear to be any spark took out 1 plug and earthed it to the block turned over but nothing. tested with a test light the 2 wires going into the coil pack both earthed when ignition off and both live with ignition on but no spark when turning over i am pretty sure i have connected everything but there is one multi block on left hand inner wing but i dont think it was connected before i think it went to the origional air filter but not used now i have blitz induction kit if it helps it is in the same loom as a multi block that goes to the exhaust.

Any ideas about this would be great as its all thats stopping me getting back on the road and i have checked the crank shaft sensor is connected

thanks in advance
