anyone help with maf????
hi all, i know this has been brought up before, yeaterday noticed a slight hessitation at around 4k while giving it the beans, by about 4.5k-5k seemed to boost better.
thing is the idle does not seem that bad, but could this still be the maf on its way out?
anyone have a spare to try before i look at buying one?
cheers, shawn

Might be worth doing a fault code test m8, plug in the two black connectors below the dash on the drivers side then switch on the ignition. If you get fault code 23 then its your MAF sensor. Here is a link that talks you through diagnosing the code.

Hi Shawn, me again....
KojaK's WRX did this but then lost power ( not boost ), and eventually it threw a fault up as the 2nd lambda sensor failing.
Very expensive to fix ! 2nd hand may be an option.
Just run her for a while and see if it does the same.
