need help please. just bought a s/hand magnex ss 3" centre decat pipe and backbox for my bugeye, seller told me front flange that bolts to standard downpipe was 2.5" but it,s 3". flange is on seperate pipe approx 6 inches long that slides into front of centre pipe. want to keep standard cat downpipe for mot so i need some sort of adaptor. might be able to cut old pipe and have it welded to flange pipe but not keen on that idea. hope someone can help as i,m keen to get exhaust fitted. thanks

hi, think i need it the other way round. this looks like it converts a 2.5" pipe to a 3" flange. i need a 2.5" flange to a 3" pipe. thanks anyway.

Try Jetex/Revolution for a 3" slip joint going down to a 2.5" flange?
They supplied one in my 3" Subaru cat back system and sounds about the length you need.

Will that not fit both ways, 3" to 2.5" or 2.5" to 3" ?

It needs welding to the 2.5" after the flange is cut off and he wants an easier solution.

thanks for the advice. but should be ok as just spoken to the guy i bought exhaust from and he says the 3" pipe will fit as the flange is the same size as the one on my 2.5" pipe, "just a larger hole in centre". hoping to fit this weekend so fingers crossed.
