Default arc intercooler advice

i thought about an upgrade for my top mount and was thinking arc top mount is this any better and how much would it cost..

If you want to stay top mount, the newage sti intercooler is a good choice or a hybrid front from harvey. They are a good bit of kit..

I had the MY93-96 ARC one (is thsi what you're on abou?) but didn't get round to fitting/mapping it. I sold it to member Scoobjam74. PM him to see what he thinks, etc...

Tests all the top mounts upto and inc. the Bugeye STi one. They also include the MY93-96 slanty AVO one (same as the ARC, in all but name)...

TBH beeny, the small slanty ARC ain't gonna flow a great deal more than the OEM one. So you shouldn't get much more than 290-300 I would have thought (OEM one good for c.280).

Even then, your 380cc injectors will be right maxed out, regardless!

Personally, if you still want to retain a TMIC look, then I'd fit one of the best OEM ones available - which will be the Bugeye or Blobeye STi one. These are good for 400+ bhp, so future proofed, somewhat.

There's prob a fitting guide somewhere...
