Are these center console units the standard colour? I'm pretty sure they are, just they are slightly different in colour, the gear surround is slightly lighter than the handbrake surround, but they don't look like they have been sprayed.

Thanks

Gear surround out of a different car, or been sprayed. Mine is a perfect match

What buttons are they on the console display, looks like a blank on the left and the 2nd from left a digital screen?! Have you got a close up?

Thanks

Yep there has been a little modding going on there

I have removed my headlight washer jets plus the switch from the dash, the digi display is for a charge temp sensor which is soon to be fitted into my top mount.

This was how it did look after I cut to delete out and fitted it on the end when the washer jets were still installed.

Then after I dumped the system and got another surround I am now here...

I still have the old one plus all there centre bits which I keep meaning to picture and sell, it looks like you have some missing there. The only trouble with mine is for anyone else there is a large hole cut in it

Cutting a hole in the console was a bad idea lol, that's why mine is missing haha, the previous owner cut a hole there for a switch that isn't there now and it looked rubbish just having some hole so i took it out! Ha.
I got a replacement in black and then tried spraying it grey but i messed it up on the lacquer coat, i tried sanding it off and it was too hard so i took a electric sander to it and that didn't work, well it worked too well and took more than the paint off lol so i just put it in the bin haha.
It's impossible to find a grey console, i keep finding black ones but i want grey.
I went to Subaru and they want £85ish and even then the console matched to my chassis number didn't look like mine. The guy said he would take a picture of mine and see if it was the same but i didn't fancy the £85.

I was thinking of making something so i could put a boost controller where all the buttons are. Then either remove the headlight washers and just leave the other two button behind the dash, i never use them anyway, they are just left on the settings i like.

You need to give a call to a breaker for that they will have one standard.

You should have just dropped a dummy switch in it to start lol

I would buy a cheap display for temp or something if it's only a case of filling the hole it's probably the easiest solution.
