Default Classic Headlight Question - Quick Answer Please

I'm looking at getting some Philips BlueVision bulbs, am i correct in thinking that Classic only uses one H4 bulb per side for both the main and full beam?

Thanks

Yes.

There's either another, 2nd, element for main beam... or... more current get's put through the same, single, element (can't remember)...

But yes, it's just the one H4 bulb assembly per headlight.

I think the PIAA Extreme White (or Platinum White) are considered one of the best...

No worries, I think the Philips Blue Vision are just as highly regarded/effective.

Correct, although why you're getting "Blue Vision" bulbs I'm not sure. These make your headlights less effective than a regular clear bulb, and it's not like the Impreza's headlights aren't already cr*p.

If you want to improve the lighting rather than just chav your car up, get Philips' Xtreme Power H4's instead.

So, SP, in your experience, are the Philips Xtreme Power, the only aftermarket ones worth fitting (I know that's probably not saying much though)??

Are they 'proper' white i.e. 4500K (or whatever the pure white temp is)?

Apparently, they're at 3400K so pretty much just on the edge of the 'yellow' side of white.

So they're in the 'white' 3000-5000K part of the scale, so will appear brighter than any 5000+ K 'blue' bulbs...
