Default insurance help

hi, yesterday i became the owner of a standard WRX, i had an insurance quote before i bought it which i was happy with, ive sinced phoned back and the scam merchants have put on a further £718 'admin' fee as i'd like to pay monthly, i have shopped around today but with being only 24, most insurers are not interested and the ones that are, are quoting in the region of £1600!!! Which is extortianate as i only paid £476 on a nissan pulsar last year! Does anyone know of reasonable insures for imports and especially my age? im pulling my hair out as i cant drive the car. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks. Adam
