atm on my sti i have a bailey dv26 car runs fine , its the one with the flat bottom thats designed for the subaru i think?
i was just curious how you would fit a normal dumpvalve like a turbo smart one or a hks on.
and what would be needed thanks in advance

If you have a dv26 dumpvalve i am presuming your car is a classisic between 1992-1998,and the turbosmart & hks dumpvalves you are looking at all have fitment plates attatched to them. This is because the later classics and newage cars all have the recirc/dump valve attatched direct to the intercooler which just bolts on,where as the dv26 attatches via a hose.
Some manufacturers do an alloy dump valve flange, that can be fitted to a dump valve allowing it to be fitted to earlier models via the hose method oppose to being bolted to the intercooler.

im guesing you have a dump valve for an earlier classic model, you will need one like the bailey one thats already fitted. they are simple to fit, its a case of remove the old and fit the new.
is it a vta or recirc that you wat to fit, if its vta then you will get a bung to put into the recirc pipe, if its a recirc type then you just connect the recirc pipe to the dv then bolt it to your intercooler.. if this sounds baffling then just look at the one thats already fitted..its a simple mod

Sorry mate i got it the other way round, the only way you are going to be able to fit that dump valve to your car is by buying an adaptor plate, basically it bolts on to where your existing dump valve goes and has an alloy pipe/hose coming off it to the right. You just jubilee clip a short piece of silicone hose to this pipe and fasten your dumpvalve to the silicone hose, and connect your vacume tube.
