Yep, and with the PPP it'll be nearly running max boost - great excuse for an upgrade

Get a VF35 if going for more - 350 potential; 310-330 typical (unless, of course, you want even more than that).

Plus it still has decent spool - so you won't get "TD04 homesick" LOL

What other bits would help make it up to around 330?
Got a vf35 going on this week and a few other bits!

Your ecu will probably have the Gems piggyback board in it as fitted to the early PPP cars. Your best option is to source a new ecu from a 2001/2 wrx and sell your PPP ecu on.

That will allow your car to be remapped.

gems ppp piggy back board is a 5minute job to remove if it has it.. ppp on this year not particularly wonderful method, much better when they started using ecutek to load the maps on. Once removed remap no issue.. you may get a small amount for the ecu if you sell on but they don't tend to sell that quickly or for that much

By the time the MY02 had rolled out they had dropped the piggy back board. As Dynamix says I'd put it at 250 BHP with the PPP. They came as 215 BHP out of the box so it's a nice gain LOL

Simon

I'd guess the "02" PPP's would have the a-pillar radio mast and not have the aerial in the rear screen..........MY01 'ish

Stuck on a forecourt somewhere in an unloved colour (green or red) or in an out of the way place............like Well Lane Turbo LOL

Tongue in cheek

Shaun

Having said that I had a whale of a time in my Bugeye running 250-300 BHP with various mods. I never though the car would break or it would kill me LOL. Great fun

I curently run at about 400 odd BHP with methanol injection and I sit and wait for the next thing to break.......the latest is the APS DR500 pipe that runs from the intercooler next to the battery ............ can you get one for me ??

Cheers Shaun
