power steering pump on a classic
i have a early classic and the psp. is leaking ive heard this is a common problem so can i retrofit a newer pump from the later classic version??
is it a direct swap or a full conversion job? cheers

Fitting the squarer MY97>00 PAS pump/res assy is a good idea imo..
Should you want to, you can then fit a ph.1.5 MY97/98 inlet manifold and go under it for the direct, straight intake to the turbo - the later PAS pump's position allows the hose to fit!
The PAS/IM/intake mod is worth doing if you intend to mod beyond 350bhp (although it's good to do it for any modding level, if you can be bothered...)
